L’AICS Frosinone nasce nell’estate 2007, dopo una lunga chiacchierata tra Filippo Tiberia, Pirandello Attilio, rispettivamente Presidente il primo, vice il secondo.
La passione per il calcio a 5 e la voglia di creare un movimento diverso dal solito, invogliano il duo a sposare la causa AICS.
L’AICS Frosinone, a oggi, conta circa 5000 tesserati suddivisi tra Calcio a 5 e calcio a 7( si contano oltre 340 società) , Palestre , Scuole di Danza, Circoli Subacquei e il Gioco Softair.
Lo spirito è quello di voler stare vicino ai giovani e mettere a conoscenza degli appassionati nuovi e avvincenti modi per poter trascorrere una giornata diversa dal solito.
Nel settore calcio nasce, così, il concetto di “ZONALE”.
Lo zonale per far capire che lo sport è in primis e soprattutto un divertimento , senza l’assillo del dover obbligatoriamente fare risultato per passare di categoria o vincere cifre esorbitanti.
Nella stagione 2008/2009 si è arrivati ad avere 15 campionati zonali, di cui 9 di calcio a 5(1 top class denominata “Joga Champions” e i restanti 8 suddivisi proprio per zone: 3 zone su Frosinone , 1 su Alatri , 1 in zona Pitocco, 1 in zona Tecchiena , 1 in zona Colleferro e infine 1 in zona Maddaleni) , 4 di calcio a 7 , 1 femminile e 1 giovanile.
La filosofia di base è il divertimento e l’amatorialità. A testimonianza di questo c’è stata l’innovativa formula che ha portato la società vincente della “Fase Finale Champions” a partecipare ai campionati Regionali che quest’anno si sono tenuti a Cisterna di Latina il giorno 04/07/09 .
Oltre al calcio a 5 e calcio a 7 , l’AICS è sempre alla ricerca di qualche innovazione e dopo aver affiliato diverse palestre e circoli, quest’anno ha avuto il piacere di scoprire uno dei giochi che più sta’ riscuotendo successo in provincia , ovvero il SOFTAIR, tramite il club Extreme Elite Squad.
Da sottolineare anche altre manifestazioni organizzate dall’AICS Frosinone, tra cui la splendida Corsa di Babbo Natale che ha visto partecipare quasi 1000 persone, che , con partenza dal Campo Sportivo di Frosinone, hanno attraversato , correndo vestiti da Babbo Natale, una parte della città, con arrivo presso la Villa Comunale.
Altra manifestazione è stata “Aspettando la Befana”.
L’impegno da parte dell’AICS Frosinone è stato riconosciuto a livello Nazionale, tanto da premiare con la nomina a Vice Presidente Regionale il presidente Filippo Tiberia.
