Shearing the Rams is an annual event hosted by the University of Utah Sheep Center. The event is open to the public and offers visitors the opportunity to watch shearers from around the world compete in a two-day event. The competition is divided into two parts: the open class, which is open to all shearers, and the novice class, which is open to shearers who have not won a open class competition.
